How do I get to Maine?

The airport closest to the party venue is:
Portland International Airport (PWM).
There are other airports relatively close that may be more convenient depending on your travel plans:
Bangor International Airport (BGR) is about two hours from Portland and provides the easiest access to areas such as Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
Boston Logan Airport (BOS) in Massachusetts is also about two hours from Portland and may be more convenient if looking to take advantage of the New England area outside of Maine. If you arrive into Boston, Concord Coach Lines provides direct bus service from Logan to Portland.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) offers best access to the White Mountains, a popular outdoor and hiking destination in New Hampshire. The white mountains. are~1 hour drive from this airport. Please note that this is a regional airport and flight selection may be limited for this destination. Boston Logan and Portland International Airports are also relatively close to the White Mountains (~2 hour drive).

Amtrak provides direct service to Portland, Maine.
The Downeaster connects Boston to Maine and runs from 4:15am to 10:30pm daily.
If booking an Amtrak trip, we suggest arriving through the Portland station (POR).

There are many ways to drive to Southern Maine.
Off I-95 (the Maine Turnpike), exits 44 and 45, provide access to downtown Portland and exits 45 and 46 provide access to South Portland.
From I-295, you may take exits 4-8 to downtown Portland.
Route 1 provide the scenic route all the way up the coast of Maine, from Kittery to Portland and beyond.

Concord Coach Lines offers convenient bus service that connects Boston (Boston Logan and South Station) to New Hampshire and Maine, including Portland.
Greyhound Bus provides service from a broader range of cities (such as New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC) with destinations across Maine, including Portland.
Where should I stay?
We have reserved blocks in hotels in the Greater Portland Area that can be reserved for a discounted rate during your stay. Short-term rentals, like Airbnb and VRBO, have many local listings that can accommodate larger groups. Accommodations tend to go quickly, so we recommend planning reservations as early as possible.
Please note that for discounted bookings, you must complete reservation planning no later than listed the deadline. We are unable to accommodate post-deadline requests.

The Hyatt Place Portland-Old Port is nestled into the heart of the Old Port, the historic maritime district of Portland. This hotel boasts stunning views of the waterfront and convenient access to many attractions in the Greater Portland Area. The McKernan Inn is located next door to the party venue and offers easy access to the beach.
Discounted rates for the party range from $335 - $470 per night, depending on the room selected. There is a 2-night minimum. Review room types here.
